Why Should we Pray?
Prayer strengthens our relationship with God, provides peace, offers guidance, and allows us to intercede for others. Scripture calls us to pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17), seek peace in prayer (Philippians 4:6-7), and trust in God’s wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is a vital privilege that deepens our connection with God.
Praying As One
Praying together as a church strengthens unity and support. Matthew 18:20 highlights God’s presence in communal prayer, while Acts 2:42 shows the early church’s commitment to prayer. James 5:16 calls for mutual prayer for healing, aligning the church with God’s will.
